Preserve you now your dignity
Integrity, solidity

Of how you feel

It isn't ever others
Who can change your mood
Your attitude, affect your day
Or chase away your calm

Hold back your pride, be resolute
The way you feel is up to you
For change yourself is all that you can do
To fuel the conflict only leads

To brandishing of swords and shields
Raised battlements that make it hard to heal
Restore, rebuild your self-belief
And offer them kind words of peace

Tread gently every time you go to speak
Remember both sides think they're right
Plant seeds of love & don't lose sight
And you will reap more harmony in life
